you can be a master carpenter{thank goodness}and still find church attendance, church callings, relaxing, money management, socializing, steady employment and in another's case doing dishes, cooking ,talking , even blogging hard to do, hard to do"::::::::::::daniel is off his construction work for awhile but as a family we are fortunite>>>>one time before i retired, afull fledged full bore phychiatrist said "i am glad you are retired for your, son because most of those who leave the spanishfork hospital{mental} come back and pay us a visit again..daniel has only been in once..this coming from the top of the heap from social workers, mental health speacialists, counselers, health aids, phycholgists and plain medical dotors>>>when dan was 3<<<<>>>>he was not talking during all this period....he wasn't hearing anything in his first three years of life until we got him some good hearing aids...he later developed scitzophrenia and has his own stories to tell you that take him into the mountains without eating or drinking, building a mountain cabin, and being on a food tube for 2 months and building a covered porch and being 8 months in a mental institution>>>>>he went to slc for a nuskin conferance, but that has to be daniel barlows own book>>>>>i have taken on the responsibility to be his buddy by going places with him, to see pete dunigan in mayfield, getting lumber, going to mental health interviews,shots, counseling,and home teaching with him have many long talks on the gospel, his life, and our testimonies of the gospel>>>>>Daniel in my opinion is the most talented individual in our family>>granted we have others with lots of smarts, and people who are sociable, people who have talents and skills and use them well, people who are nice and those who have common sense, but daniel can just flat out create a physical master piece with the talents that seem to have always been in him.......he got wrote up in the newspaper for fixing old bikes and giving them to kids for christmas presents now a <<<<<>>>>>>>>>><<<<>>>....>dan always referred to our bathrrom scales as a foot clock....

MY MISSIONARY companion got little red dots all over his body which was later determined to be malnutrician, all we ate for 6 months was peanut butter and home made colorless jam{marmilaide] WITH no vegitable or fruit...our landlord died in our arms and we got the blame since we were on the scene first giving him mouth to mouth ...it was a crime scene...landlady rushed out to the street pounded on our chests and said"you kill him, you kill him...we closed down the town because of backbiting...one lady who was playing the piano one sunday slammed her hands down really hard on the keyboard and walked out because we had brought another investigator to the meeting>>>>>i hit a cow on my bike in the middle of the path that we used to get home on and i was embarassed because all the cow said was"moooo" and wqalked off into the sunset and my bike was totally crumbled and unrepairable

courage in tennis

this was another blog i was NOT, I SAY NOT going to write about, but 4 times straight>>> things kind of repeated itself at the austrialian open..i have watched 80 hours of tennis, midnight til four or five in the morning, LIVE, ....four[LATELY}horrendess matches...AMERICAN rodick had shoulder problems, didn't whine, but lost two sets despite ruB downs, finally pain killers helped enough for him to win the next two sets into a fifth which he eventually lost, why didn't he quit??????i would have stopped the match...retired they call it::::it is ok to retire.....then at 3;30 am nadal started to lose to murray{great tennis, championship caliber} painfully down one set and four games tonight suddenly woke up and had the courage to turn things around and win two sets but WITH bad knees for the defending champ nadal, the champion of last year...he did retire but only after it looked like he could have hurt his self and his pain was bad like rodick's pain.....then bagdadtis, losing badly, playing in pain...you have to be 100% to hit fabulous shots with terrific strenght,it took courage for him to have played as long as he did....then fourthly serina williams the american austrailian champion, against "the girl from belarusE" 2 games away from losing it all had the courage to play above herself and win....she could have quit and i would have forgiven her because it was embarassing for her...it takes strenght and courage to play nowadays....in my day it was just plain FUN but now it is work....even ole andre agassi didn't like to play tennis>>>don't laugh at me, efforts in tennis are just exactly like efforts in life, or why would god have tennis and or homeasexuals...i am just plain too liberal for my own good aren't i???????????///??????///?
