as a stake mission president, we had a way older fellow named bill marlow in 1990 who had never heard anyone in his sixty odd years explain away his doubts about the book of mormon..he never attended church which disappointed his three boys who were regular church goers, and one do gooder son who was a mormon bishop..on december 9, he had comepleted all missionary discussions...enter marv bateman who was a plain old stake missionary...he gave him the hugh b brown account profile of a prophet and loggigally said bill that is the only way things could be, so be sensible, he called his three sons, the font was filled and he was baptised that night on december 9, 1990 and in the spirit of the season of good will was given the gift of the holy ghost...by one of his threee sons.....the spirit of the holy ghost was there, tears were in everybody's eyes...the years i was on a stake misson we averaged two baptisms every month...we had a great spirit of the mission....tom osmond promised a boy who was on drugs that if he ever got baptised he would introduce them to donnie and marie..we did baptise a teressa brooks and all her kids came to church and i taught the the discussions to the baxter twins{pete dunnigan's half sisters} and they were both baptised in the church and as i think about it it was alos on december 9, 1990..we had a meeting with the missionaries every sunday without fail

2009 annual LIVE pageant[CHRISTMAS EVE}

once again the live and serious 45th annual christmas eve pageant will commences at 7pm on december 24th 2009,,, like 2008 we will have no animals used in the production...no animals will be used this year as sheep, or gold ,frankensense or myrr , but seriously portraying Christ's childhood at 2 years of age...no family memmbers except dan who lives with us and becky who will visit using mathew 2 as the text....songs will be sung{only spiritual ones..no grandma got run over by the reindeer}refer to dec 7,2008 write up for particulars and details and fun

my daughter is so so full of life and she isn't always here for the holidays, my wife bought evrything food wise imaginable for her visit....it wasn't enough, we must have two kinds of mashed potatoes, how can it be possible....two kinds of mashed potatoes, isn't there only one way to squish up potatoes??????two kinds of poatoe sweet style[GRANMA DORIS SAYS EVEN SHE WOULD TASTE GOOD IF YOU MIXED HER WITH BROWN SUGAR], two kinds of dressings, a german type with saugsage and stove top, three kinds of cranberries, old fashion{you know from a can} the modern ones where you get the berry and squash it yourself, and the kind where you mix it in with apple, and then a big turkey with gravey and two kinds of hot rolls, one like flat bread and the big puffy ones that melt in your mouth....hot wassell maybe, or 20 different types of pop, one even with cherry , or hot chocolate was offered.....i didn't, couldn't taste half of it and i got so uncomfortable that when two kinds of shows were offered, twlight moon light, or 2012, it was hard to decide...and then a first, yes a FIRST...HARVESTING the barlow christmas tree on thanksgiving day...we had to this point in time never even bveen able to get a tag before the day after thanksging before 2009....now a new tradition because of becky...a live tree on thanksgivng day....wooooooooow

..... i have $100 to spend on my wife for christmas..any ideas??????? our crazy little town has no pazzel makers, in fact our mole wart has no stock of anything especially appliances...no one has ever heard of such a thing and are to busy to help me so i made a quick trip way up north to a barnes and nobel and bought a john grisham book, ford county, and a book on clinton's auto biography which karma used to like when she used to be a democrat and a michael critinon book pirate's something or other{last book that was written before his death], and the fabulous"" wicked"" which is a true story about the wicked witch of the west and her demise when somone poured water all over her and she melted....i wrapped one gift in happy birthday christmas paper for jesus's birthday and the others separaetly so she will have 4 books to open, three are hardback and wicked is a paperback...she will like all this i ,and i won't have to go back to chicgago to a specialty shop and buy her a pazzell maker...with a special discount card i got them for 58 dollars and the rest of the hundred i spent on my kids...NOW I CAN RELAX, NO PRESSURES THROUGH CHRISTMAS..i am looking past christmas to the new year 20110....we are going up to see owie barlow baptised, we baptise when they are eight and are the age of accountability by immersion in a batismal font in one of our chapels, he will get a lesson on the atonment and baptism taught as john the baptist would teach, and the gift of the holy ghost given by his two grandmas in clinton[NO I AM WRONG THAT IS IN SYRACUSE NOT NEW YORK], not the president but the town clinton in utah...did you alll know that the basic requirement for entrance in the kindom of god is baptism_ FONT_l____l^?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
