loren christie wanted to know the differences in mormonism and catholicism...i have been so excited just recently because my church has a new family search which enabled me to acquire some information on my cousin thomas stonebreaker...well everyone knows about mormon temples, right?????Wrong..[NOW I CAN TELL YOU SOME SECRETS}...i got a encoded printout WITH a barcode number which our temple needs from my computer{so easy} on a thomas s. stonbreaker born 12 jul 1944, yes my very cousin....who is he?? he worked for the Utah Jazz...my aunt jean and my mom raised 3 boys and one girl in the same exact years..we used to spend 9 hours in a day hourafter hour and day after every day of our life playin in his fron't street with carly frampton, billy anderson and my other cousin m stonebreaker}...JEAN sTONBREAKER AND jOSPEHINe bA RLOW were th moms......WELL TOMMY IN 1993 WAS ON THE PHONE WITH HIS DAUGHTER JULIE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN HAD A CARDIAC ARREST....I KNOW ALL THIS IS TOO PERSONAL AND I SHOULD BE CALLING TOMMY [v], AND jean i, and my mom h{i wonder if this blog will embarass her?????}but now i can go to the temple, reserve a sealing room and take the encoded printout and endow him by proxy with priestly robes in the Manti temple[of course the actual tom will not be there, but me me david} with the chance for him to be a God in the next world....Catholics can't do that LOren...i can also seal him to his mom and dad and seal jeannie to her husband howard or{ l }if you rather call him that

Very interesting and you are right, Catholics don't have barcodes:) Regarding cousins--mine lived right next door to me and was around my (and my sister's) age and the best memories I have growing up involving playing together at our grandma's house.
I'll have to google search what you mean by barcodes. I don't know what you mean by "sealing room" and "the chance to be a God in the next world." Thanks for sharing your faith with me.
ali , loren , a barcode is a way to identify me, the person who 's work is being completed, and to let the work proceed while heaven watches...don't laugh, we mormons really believe work we do here by proxy will count there...that is why we baptise for the dead, but in this case tommy had been baptised, just not sealed or endowed
