And does this describe your friends???
I have a family member with mental issues, due to horrible child abuse. His life is all of what you described.
Lots of problems, not enough money to get the right help, meds change all the time, and very few people care.

In working in a mental health environment I see all of this with our clients..I also see all of them overcome to a certain degree, most more serious than what you guys are dealing with. Our goal is and has to be recovery. Don't give up, don't say it's impossible. I have a good friend that works here, cleaning(a client)..he's got grey hair and has held the job consistently for a very long time..he just bought a brand new car, lives in his own house. He's dating, and is one of the more pleasant guys you'll ever meet, talks to me every day, schizo, among other things,.. much worse than what you guys are dealing with, I don't know..I know it's really hard, but so are a lot of things..just some thoughts I had, hope it's ok to share my thoughts..
Putz!! I cant read your posts, the text are lost in the sides of the page, i dont know why, I've been trying!
who would have thought one of the many faces of mental illness would be a turkey face whishing he were a ham??????
There are mentally illed people are trying their best out there. We are all God's children and we should help them help themselves. "Know the person, not by their mental illness."
Good thoughts Putz. Won't comment further, no need to.
Putz, I didn't know you had mental issues - I just thought you were French or something. Anyway, hang in there, take the meds, and vote Republican :)
lmao at Candle. But yeah, Putz, I didn't know you were struggling; you'll feel way better when you take the plunge and become a conservative. Like me. I rarely worry about the police or children or marriage or social workers or trespassing, theft, or diet stuff. It's really quite lovely. Come to the light, dear Putzy.
Knowing something of what you are talking about, your post made me very sad. I hope you don't take things personally. Mental illness is illness, and the sooner it is recognized as such the better off we all will be.
Barlow, the House passed the health care bill (what does it say?) Now the Senate has to pass it...
