my sister has always been stronger than me...in arm wrestling she could beat me, my mom, sharon tate and b anderson....she had her friend sharon tate over to play basketball and they were both stronger than me...one would run defense which means run me to the side of the court while the other one would run into make the shot...i was pretty shook up after most athletic competions of any kind...as i said in wrestling i never won...to demonstrate the intensity that Diane lived her life, once when she was certain she wanted to get into the house and i had all the doors locked to keep her out, she came to the back door where i proceeded to taunt her...we all had certain chores that were ours to do alone because both of our parents were working at the tooele army depot and we were home an hour before they were....well diane was mad and so she reached out for my neck...i was on the inside peering at her on the outside through a partition of glass in the door...her arm came at me through the glass reaching for my neck so she could strangle me.....what power to shatter a pane of glass....well needless to say she got inside where she was able to complete her chores

Isn't it funny the things we remember from our childhood? What sibling rivalry! I remember a few rows between all of us 7 kids but whenever we were mad at one kid we always had others we could go spend time with and usually get away from our current pest or competitor. Good post Putz.

My current post on my blog emphasizes that "Oh, my God!" is something we probably shouldn't be saying or throwing out there casually, but your post here makes me want to throw caution to the winds and say, "OH, MY GOD!" in capital letters, not because of how strong your sister was or that she stuck her arm through a pane of glass to get at you, but that you had a friend named Sharon Tate -- please tell me I am wrong, but this can't possibly be the same Sharon Tate who was married to Roman Polanski out in Hollywood and who was killed by the Charles Manson group of lunatics when she was very far along in her pregnancy, can it? Please tell me it isn't. And please answer here on your own blog, not on mine.
