You are not mentally ill no, you are making tradition, fokelore, bringing a family together in what sounds like a fun and most joyous way. Your great, great, great grandchildren will talk of you with a little awe and a huge amount of fondness for this yearly Barlow occasion. You paint a very vivid and warming picture of it with words, and humour is as natural as the stars themselves of which your " have you ever tried to follow a star???all the right turns are terrible" - comment made me laugh out loud. x
(I'd like pictures of you as a sheep or camel mind.)

My mother used to quote an old Quaker saying, "Everyone's crazy except me and thee, and even thee is a little bit crazy."

So, yes, like all the rest of us, you are a little bit crazy. But mentally ill? No way.

A happy Christmas to you and your family, David.

I have a friend who retired from United Parcel Service (UPS) and he told me their delivery truck routes try to involve ONLY RIGHT TURNS because the company saves some unbelievable amount of fuel annually by not turning left. Sounds ridiculous, but when you think about it, there is probably a lot less idling time involved.

Well now I have to go forward and read all of your 2014 posts to find out all about your happenings! Luckily I was planning to pop in there this week after squeezing through a hole in the time-space continuum and having a gander at 1982 to refresh my memory.
I wouldn't worry too much, I doubt anyone could pull off a performance with as much aplomb your good self dearie.

A weird family is a happy family. Hahahaha. Tis true mind. That giant lump of fat, good grief. If we all saw how much of us is fat, sat on a plate say, I think the world would be a slimmer place altogether. Well done to Dan though, a fine effort. Bike riding rules man. *smiles.

There's nothing like some good correoglify to make a Christmas play sparkle! Why else would Santa have named one of his reindeer Dancer?

Here's hoping your play goes entirely to plan and much in the way of mirth and laughter ensues this Christmas dear Putz and the Barlow clan *smiles x

Most families are weird in some way or another. And some folks within the family are much, much more weird than others.
I have one way way more than the others.
I'll take this up with my friend, Dr. Jim
