i have got to say something else....for years pepople were next to unattractive public property[AT LEAST IN THEIR EYES]so they put lawn in with the intention anyone could use the property...now they wonder what should be done...oh my what a problem..all those years nothing, and now that something is there that bothers them...i say don't be silly, leave it alone for anybody, what would be the use of destroying what is there now....and then the lady in provo who was in troublefor the exact opposite
Maybe we should do what everybody wants us to do, so we can have a better community. I bet that is what Salt Lake City is thinking. I will tell you what has been really bothering me all year long. The Willardsons water their lawn waaaay too much. When it was raining a lot in August and September, we did not water our lawn at all for 2 months and it was so green from all those rain storms. And then there's the Willardsons with their sprinkler system with a timer which waters the lawn about every night for an hour. Their lawn is so over green and over lush. We just got an article from Sanpete paper and they said not to water our lawns anymore and the Willardsons are still watering their lawn, it's even the freezing time and wake up, it's fall! We don't water lawns in the fall when it freezes every night.
instead of tackeling that woman in provo, they shoulf have put in an automatic sprinking system to go off at midnight for 15 minutes. i bet she would have been apprecative of the prject like they are for that guy that builds people a home and they would have changed her lawn from brown to light orange or tan or maybe ??????
We still live in a free country..mostly. I think our neighbors water too much, (all the water has ruined our fence, so now they want a new fence)they have a smaller lawn than us so they probably use less water. They probably wish we had less weeds in our lawn and watered more. I think the media etc. does a good job of informing us of the water situation so we can make our own educated decision. Maybe someday water prices will need to go up..hopefully it won't come to enforced water controls. Maybe the Wilardsens didn't get the memo?
