relationships

there was a town in Brierly Hill, in central ENGLAND which had a street "the ridings" where thirty ENGLISH people were baptised with the family names of goymer, fielding, hildreft, wilson, and pennington>>>my companion during this period of time was dennis d white, who now lives in slc and owns a car dealership>>mr. goymer was a diminUtive little englishman with poor health>>>he later died of brain cancer, but he was the kindest man you would want to know>>>in fact his whole family was kind>>>john his oldest son smoked and i came up behind him unbeknownst to him and said"drop that cigarrett" and he nearly jumped out of his skin and threw it to the ground and said if they make me that nervous" i quit" and he did quit>>>oliver was my favorite goymer, he used to follow the "elders" around and want to participate in our missionary discussions...HE LATER BECAME A BRANCH PRESIDENT IN THE LITTLE GrOUP THERE IN BROMSGROVE>>>BERNADETTE WAS THE SWEETHEART OF THE BUNCH>>she was only five but did understand the principles of the gospel>>>mrs. goymer was our mom and with mrs. fielding right next door cooked and straightenen our ties and wrote our parents and was jus "moms" to us...i still remember Mrs. goymer's hugs>>>mr. hildreft had a hunch back and was very self conscience but was baptised just like all 3o>>>>mr' pennington was afraid of water, wilson was on a flat board prostrate because none of his limbs worked properly>>>their wifes all elegant english girls who had the faith of martha and mary>> and their older children over eight all stalwart in obeying our lord>this was over 48 years ago so most of them have probalby left this world execept for bernadette{ she made me a birthday card on my 21st birthday which said"you are my boy friend, elder barlow>>will you marry me?????}i got a big silver key that was suppose to open all the doors in bromsgrove for my twenty first birthday>>>i was finally" of age"....the oldest fielding girl came to america to be a nanny to an american family in provo , utah and used to visit me as i was marrying and getting started in employment>>>she took care of eight children here>>>>her [SANDRA'S }younger SISTERS WERE ALL BEAUTIES AND DEVOTEDLY LISTEN TO "MA" FIELDING as their mentor>>the largest family of the five{11} they were definately the most interesting of the 30.....i never have been back to "the ridings" since i am poor and can't afford it, but i will never forget the street or the people OR THE times>>i wonder if they are still christian at heart????

something important TO me

i read something important in a book i want to post from the color of water by james mcbride regarding some of the people who are around me against some democratic views>>>i have been told that there are needy people and greedy people>>>needy people they say need help and greedy people shouldn't get help>>>i don't agree>>> and this is what i read in the book " my mother was against welfare and never applied for it despite our despirate need for it, but she championed those who availed themselves of welfare""" that is just the way i feel about the present health care bill>>>i want it sitting there as a person's right whether they avail themselfs of it or not >>>there in full bloom for people to pluck at>>>james mcbide says God is the color of water and water most of the time is colorless>>>i do , however want to clarify myself on ONE POINT>>>> i only feel like this on welfare, health and regligious rights>>>i do not advocate a free lunch when it comes to houses, cars, bikes, molwart stuff, generally speaking i am for a person having to work for everything>>i just like to see people as healthy as possible without WORRY and food in their belly also>>>you people don't have to worry about me, my polititics keep changing and so i might be back more to the right after a feew yeaars of what i am experiencing right now

EASTER SUNDAY{ ALL BUMMED OUT

i have shared this story of my easter 2010 with some of you personnally but thought i would share it as a post>>>you see this is a very unusual weekend for me>>>>my wife is in disney world florida, with her daughter and her other daughter{darrell} i am home with my 31 year old son>>>so after a failed trip to a bike race{wore out our tires after rotating them< i guess the wrong way} came home early>>>i say to{daniel}let's keep the traditions alvie, let's color hard boiled eggs and he says no friggin way{ this is his way of saying NO} so i boil 10 eggs, and i have no egg coloring kit so i get out the magic markers and crayons>>>>did you know that if you put a crayon on a hot egg, the wax melts all over the egg????????so i have ten colored eggs 2 of which have already been eaten by daniel>>>the colored eggs are actually not very artistic because by the time the eggs cool, the wax has run all over them>>>>i relate this story because i am sad that i couldn't have a traditional easter with young children who were excited about the coloring of eggs>>><<<<<><<><><<......p.s. many peopel pip eggs on easter, well at least my swiss miss who married my second son do>>>>two tough eggs spilling together and towards each other, and what remains one uncracked and then then onCe AGAIN>> egg goes forward to others [uncrqacked eggs] to compete once again>>>>>>>>OF COURSE TYHROUGH ALL this we should only be concentrating on rememberingthe real purpose of this EASTER....>>>.THE RESURRECTION
